Uzma Aslam Khan was conceived in Lahore and experienced childhood in Karachi, Pakistan. She is the creator of four books, including Trespassing, The Geometry of God, and, most as of late, Thinner than Skin. Trespassing was shortlisted for the Commonwealth Prize Eurasia 2003. The Geometry of God was casted a ballot one of Kirkus Reviews' Best Books of 2009 and won a bronze decoration in the Independent Publisher Book Awards 2010. More slender than Skin was longlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize 2012 and the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature 2014. Her second novel, Trespassing, was distributed at the same time by Flamingo/HarperCollins in the UK and Penguin Books India in 2003. It has been converted into fourteen dialects in eighteen nations.
